Task Card Obsession

My new obsession for the classroom are task cards!  I love that they are available for my students to use throughout the day!  I love that they are easy to store! I love that they are quick and easy for my students to do on their own!

As an extra incentive, I incorporate my classroom reward system into the task cards.  The students can earn "warm fuzzies" for each set of cards they complete.  They love to collect the fuzzies!

I found these expandable file folders in the dollar section of Target.  They are perfect for storing the recording sheet and the task cards in one location in the classroom.

The students find the task card set they want to do and pull out the recording sheet.  They take them to their desk or back table to work on.

I have many tasks card sets for the students to choose from and rotate them throughout the week.  I love the smaller file folders to store the cards in (also available at Target for $1) when I am not using them!
