You Oughta Know - Brain Breaks

Displaying yououghtaknowbloghopbanner.png

This week I am teaming up with several other bloggers on a series called "You Oughta Know."   Be sure to hop over to the other blogs to find some helpful tips to use in the classroom.

I selected to share GoNoodle.  I used this last year with my little kinders and they begged for it each day!  Click here to get yourself ready for brain breaks!  You  should find yourself at the home screen of GoNoodle.com.  Just sign yourself up!

Once you are signed up and select a mascot for your class you will find this screen.  This little "champ" will grow with each brain break your class participates in.

Click play!  You will see a list of options to play.  I have used most of them but my class loved the Go Noodle button.

After clicking on Go Noodle you will come to another selection of options.  Select one your class will enjoy - mine loved to Boogie Down!

Once you have completed a brain break, you will go back to your "champ" and he will grow for each minute your class participated in a break! The kids love to see him get bigger and bigger.

There are so many great things to do on Go Noodle so check it out - IT'S FREE!!!

Remember, the kids love to see their teacher act silly with them!

  1. I love this!!! I had brain break Popsicle sticks and let the student of the week pick the activity each day. I think my Kinders would like this better, any excuse to use the smartbaord. Thanks for sharing.
